evidently the anti-2nd amendment group wasn't expecting the turnout for
their little get together. it appears what they thought would be a ripple turned out to a wave signs told of room closed because of the mass of pro-2nd amendment practicably fill the room .
perhaps they thought being in a police station would help their case not sure
also they probably thought being on the North Shore they would have more people sympathetic to their case. it appears wrong on both counts.
all this afternoon the news tried to salvage the day with repeated news release of the firearms accidents at the shows. evidently there were estimates of nearly 2000+ people at springfield driving home the point of
preserving the 2ND amendment and support and not one mention of it today or this meeting
take care and enjoy

Another thing that wasn't mentioned is that with all the armed protests that took place around the nation.., there were no reports of violence!!! Decent, law abiding citizens with firearms...including those so-called "assault" weapons...contribute nothing to the crime rate. |
