URI's Craig Lawrence and TICTOC Team's Raul Martinez have teamed up to provide an exclusive Combat Shotgun Class taught by instructors with real-world experience on the battlefield and in the street.
The Combat Shotgun is for students who already have the fundamental skills of long gun marksmanship and want to learn how to apply those skills in combat. It is most appropriate for those who are starting to get serious about the tactical shotgun as a method of defense.
Day 1 will be indoors, building Shotgun skills, gaining insights into subjects like Safe Handling, Patterning, Ammunition and Ancillary Equipment Selection, Situational and Environmental Awareness, Liability Hazards, Mental Conditioning, and much more.
Day 2 will be spent on the range, developing the student's weapon handling and shooting skills. Topics include Zeroing, Stance, Single and Multiple Target Engagements from 5 to 25 Meters, Targets at Close Range, Speed & Tactical Reloading, Tactical Problem-Solving, Proper use of cover and more.
Required Equipment:
Day 1 classroom:
Unloaded duty-type 12 ga shotgun (pump shotgun optimal)
pen and notebook
