What is considered a combat MOS?
All mos deploy. |
It states combat-related, as in tankers, infantry, recon, etc. front-line units. A food service related MOS would not qualify. I was a in a combat related MOS, but I think this particular requirement is BS. All soldiers are first a basic infantry rifleman and we all go through the same training. For a FL CCW you just have to be an honorably discharged veteran, and I think that is the way it should be. |

I'm on the other side if the fence on this, and like the combat MOS requirement. I was 0311 rifleman though so I'm biased. |

From page 25
5 (2) An individual who has qualified to carry a firearm
|
What does that mean? |
The 5 was the line number on the page when I did a copy and paste. Line 6 has the rest of the text. |
No sorry, An individual who has qualified to carry a firearm. Like who could that be? Since it's not legal (unless your a cop) how could you have qualified, I guess I'm missing something. |

I was qualified by the state of Pennsylvania to carry a firearm. Does that count? |

The entire line reads as:
(2) An individual who has qualified to carry a firearm
as a retired law enforcement officer.
The 5 and 6 to the side is the line number from the document. If you take a look at the full bill text its easier to understand. |
