Does anyone have a S&W book they could look up a s/n for me?
Trying to determine approx. DOM on a 25-2 revolver I just got.

Thank you. I kind of figured it was newer with that higher serial #.
The guy I got it from thought it was mfg. in 1967.
But, for what I got it was a deal to me. It's probably 95%+ with the display case and papers but missing the original cleaning rod.
From everything I've read on them, these are great target pistols. I haven't shot it other than a few test rounds, but it sure shoots sweet.

I don't think N's started until the 70's and the serials are tinkled all over different models so it's not a determinate of count. They are nice guns. |

The first revolver with an N prefix was N1, made in 1969. |
