Damn, I really wish I would have gone. Let's try to get one going in Illinois (private property so we can carry) or in Southern Wisconsin. Heck, let's get them going throughout both states.
Now I am thinking of hosting a pistol picnic...... |

We didn't really keep track, but I'm sure it was more than 10. There were eight of us there cleaning up...seven in the picture and Emily taking it. Add to that the number of people who stopped in for a short visit. Also, I talked to three who had read about the drive on Icarry.org and just stopped by to visit. If I were to venture a guess I would say somewhere between 13 to 15 over the course of the 5 hours.
Next one we do, we need to keep track of who all was there.
Has anyone found the link to the Milwaukee coverage?? |

Nice event!
I'm glad I could stop by for a little bit (my schedule was tight). It was great place to have my first open carry... in civvies. My wife enjoyed it as well even though she did not carry this time I believe she will next time we go out, she just wants some more range time.
Keep up the good work!

Great job, Mike. Sounds like it was a lot of fun too. I did not know Hubert was going to be there. I had planned to be there, but when I went pick up my XD-45 on Friday, Scheel's could not do the transfer because it was a holiday and more thatn 72 hours had passed since my approval. So, I had to back on Saturday.
I am up for any more food drives that ICarry plans to do. I myself, did not know that Open Carry was legal until late last year. I cannot imagine the number of people that could be educated.
Again, Great Job. |

This was a tremendously successful event that will benefit the right to carry movement for a very long time. I don't think Mike realizes what a positive effect this event has had and will have for a long time to come. I may not even realize it myself
Good job, Mike, on everything. And thanks to everyone who took their time to drive there, hang out, spread the word, help raise food for the needy, and represent responsible firearms owners in our two states.
We had people from Illinois drive up like Joe Franzese and myself, and any others?
We had people from all over the large state of Wisconsin drive, hours and hours to get there. We'll get a roll call of who showed up in support. Thanks everyone!!! Open Carry food drive. Eat that, WAVE |

Thanks for the additional info Scott. I was counting the people I remembered being there. It's great to hear that there were more participants. I do remember there being another person that came in with two females and donated some items that said he saw it on Icarry.org. So even if he couldn't stay, he participated just the same. He was carrying too. |

Since I am involved in a post on another website defending this food drive, I would like some numbers from anyone that was there.
total accidental discharges:
total people arrested:
total people passed out from seeing a firearm:
Thanks.
p.s. I would really like answers to those first two. |
