Watch this video it is more lies from the media. This aired on 11/9/09 on NBC. Write the news station and let them know you're not fooled this easily. Demand a retraction correction and an appology. It's the clintion gun ban all over again!!
Editor's comments: This is one of the worst "reports" I've seen on so-called assault-weapons. They are purposely trying to fool the viewers into believing full-automatic AK-47s - that is real assault weapons - are readily available at any gun store to anyone. Come on! They know what they are doing, folks. Just trying to scare and fool as many people as possible, and pave the way for a new "assault-weapons" ban.

Below is the contact website for NBC 5 Chicago, but I didn't find a phone number.
I wrote them stating they should do a retraction, or at least a followup that addresses these four points:
1) Fully automatic weapons can not be bought by the general public
2) Fully automatic assault weapons are illegal, and would not be affected by any ban
3) Assault weapons fire just like a standard semi-automatic pistol
4) Every shooting in Chicago shows that bans do not stop criminals.
I hope everyone will at least write NBC 5 Chicago. If anyone gets the phone number please let us know.

I wrote them sent it to 2 adresses they won't respond..
Heres an idea for ease of sending a message. How about one form letter where everybody can copy and bombard them with. I'm not the most skillful or polite writer so me writing the letter would not be a good idea. I tend to be very blunt straight to the point not much tact.
