Founder now charged with FELONY for obeying the law!! |

 We had our first court appearance today.
The original charges of Class A Misdemeanor "Unlawful use of weapons" have been changed to CLASS 4 FELONY "AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPONS"
We will release more information and I will comment further as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support and thanks for being with me on this. |

Maybe. Maybe not.
Since I do not know what went on, it is hard for me to make a judgment about anything.
This is not like Perry Mason. Preliminary hearings are pretty perfunctory and if the defendant does not chose to make an issue of it, the judge is not going to do anything but set a court date and bind over the defendant, and that is what he should do. It is up to the defendant to bring up whatever issues he feels is pertinent if the legal strategy says that is the way to go.

(User Info | Send a Message) | I guess they can charge a person in this state with anything they want . To convict a person of a wrongful charge is another story. Come on now, where did they come up with the aggravated part. I can't see any states attorney pushing wrongful charges just to prove a point. And if they do, what will be next.
Are you getting any support from the NRA, or IRA on this. I know you support them both with life membership. I personally would like to see both groups get involved in this issue.
It really makes me wonder how people in the state of Illinois are going to be able to transport guns in the future if this goes on.
I transport my handguns in a pellican case that is also used to carry my laptop. If I were to get pulled over, will I be charged for "AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPONS" or worse.
This is truly a sad time for the good and honest people of Illinois.

(User Info | Send a Message) | | You have the point ! The current anti-gun politcal atmosphere in Illannoy has determined in their ultimate wisdom that you. I and every other gun owner should NOT be allowed to transport any firearm anywhere. Balgo, Daley and all the others would consider this a great victory if Shaun was convicted. More stuff to help cower the rest of us.
Illannoy is so backwards and anal on the gun issue. I also follow articles on gun laws in Arizona, what a contrast to Illannoy. They actually hold gun shows inside the schools ! Open carry, no problem,Castle Doctrine, no problem.
Blago has to go but I don't trust Topinka any more than Blago. Most of the pols lie on the gun issue.
