I wanted to inform anyone that might not be aware of my arrest for "DISORDERLY CONDUCT" on Tuesday, October 11th, 2005. You can read the discussion on the topic IN FORUM THREAD HERE

I want to stress that this was a wrongful, unwarranted arrest, and I feel it is a DIRECT attack on the beliefs many of us share. This arrest was the result of a statement I made about gun rights by simply wearing my ICarry.org jacket and my EMPTY fannypack/carry-case/holster. You can read the article posted on

I was sent this electronic copy of a flyer that Jim Oberweis has put out. It states his views on a few specific issues. The first statement is "Illinois should join with 38 other states and allow the General Assembly to pass Conceal Carry Legislation!". This seemed newsworthy -- it's nice to have 2nd Amendment support in writing.

If there is one thing liberals love more than banning Christianity from public schools it is creating ineffective gun control laws. Despite centuries of evidence that gun control laws do not lower crime, stop violence, or make society safer in any way, liberals keep plugging away at our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.  Read More...

I signed up for new hosting tonight and moved everything over. The new hosting costs a bit more money each month, but should be well worth it. We shouldn't experience ANY more outages at all, and you should notice a huge increase in performance. Pages should load faster and requests shouldn't be dropped anymore either. Now I can rest easier too and not be scared the site is going to go down all the time ;)

This was posted by one of our members (45superman) on the forums. It's a small piece by John Ross. These are some very good arguments all of us should keep in mind when speaking to anti-gunners! You can shoot down pretty much anything they say, and look VERY good while doing it.

I came across a good little essay on how racism was the reason behind the first gun control laws in this country. I posted it here on our site for safe-keeping. Check it out, some of it is pretty interesting.

Hopefully it will shed a little more light into the foolishness of gun control, for people of all colors.

I'm so excited I can't stand it! Our hard work has really paid off! It's been exactly 3 weeks and we've gotten 100 registered members! Absolutely awesome! I expect it won't take long to get many many more. The movement has begun, we're taking this state back.

Thanks to everyone who has helped spread the word, keep up the good work!

It's been brought to my attention that a few people have gotten virus warnings from this website. This has been an issue since I launched the site, and after digging deeply into it I determined it was caused by out-dated virus definitions.

I believe the cause is from McAfee and possibly 1 or 2 others misidentifying some of our php scripts as having an "exploit". Please don't be alarmed by this warning. If you get it, first try updating your virus definitions. McAfee, Norton, etc should all have a built-in way to quickly and easily update those. After you do that, try visiting the site again, and you shouldn't get a warning.

If you were one of the people that got the warning, please send me an email at sak@icarry.org and let me know what software you are using, and if updating the software fixed the issue. Thanks, and sorry for any scare you may have gotten!

I came across this the other night when I was on the gunfacts.info website. I thought it would be very good to share, considering it's invaluable information. If you are ever on a jury, and the defendant is accused of breaking a bad law (such as a gun control anti-2nd Amendment law) you have the power to "NULLIFY" the case. You can acquit the accused on basis that the law is unconstitutional, or otherwise just plain unjust. Learn this information, it could be very valuable for the fight for ALL of our rights!

I posted it under Content>Right to Keep and Bear Arms>Jury Nullification <--click here

I came across this on packing.org. It's a very good, but sad story of a man with a legal handgun stopped a murderer and carjacker. Unfortunately, the carjacker had already killed one person. LINK HERE

I just posted the first Representatives list. You can get to it on the left. I haven't been in contact with any of the Reps yet, still trying to get ahold of all the Senators. We could really use the help. Please contact your own rep to start, and talk to him/her about guns. Find out there stance, on the 2nd Amendment and concealed carry. We need to know!

Thanks everyone!

The site went down for a couple hours tonight. I wish I could say this was the first time, but it was not. Luckily I have been religiously backing up constantly (ever since I experienced my first problems with this host). I'm in the process now of finding a new web host and moving all my domains/accounts over. It wil be a lot of work, and will cost a bit more money too most likely.

Hopefully until the move is complete we won't see any more problems. Don't worry though, everything will stay backed up, so even if my host loses my data for the 3rd time we'll be fine

We have a lot of support right now in the Senate. Many senators openly support concealed carry, and would like to see it happen in Illinois. Everyone knows it has been a huge success across the nation. Crime has gone down in concealed carry states tremendously.

Let's keep working on it, and pressure our State Reps and Senators for support! Our 2nd Amendment Right to BEAR should be restored. It is in the public interest of every law-abiding citizen in the state to have concealed carry. The only people that should be opposed are criminals.

Check out our SENATORS LIST to see the VERIFIED support. I'm still waiting to speak with more senators, you can expect a LOT more good marks on that list!

I came across a story on another Illinois gun discussion board that I thought needed some attention. It appears our state representative Kathy Ryg has sent out gun-control flyers with blatant misinformation (aka LIES). As if the topic of assault weapons hasn't been whipped dead enough, she has decided to SAW it.

Her flyer features pictures of various "assault" weapons, one being a military M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW). Apparently her intention was to "educate the public" that SCARY-LOOKING assault weapons were once again available for sale in Illinois.

If anything could make me laugh, cry, and then get mad, this is it. I'll post more info as soon as it becomes available. Hopefully we can take action against her, and not let her get away with something this bad.

Good news but we will have to keep an eye on the board members to make sure they do not try to pull a fast one.

Suffredin’s proposal was referred to the Board’s Health and Hospitals Committee for review. IllinoisLeader.com has learned that the Suffredin’s ban, thought to be an agenda item at the Cook County Board’s September 20 meeting, will not be called in committee.

According to a source in county government, Committee Chairman Commissioner Jerry “Iceman Butler has no interest in calling the ordinance preferring to let it die in committee. Butler is reportedly upset that the political hot potato was referred to his committee as opposed to the more logical choice of the Law Enforcement Committee.
